Misty April Morning

Just a quick entry, this one, to share some photos I took this morning of the mountains rising up out of a ring of cloud.
This is what the verges look like at the moment - a riot of vegetation and colour. So why do they insist on fumigating them and killing it all? With what excuse, what justification? Does dead vegetation look better than this? (because they don't clear it up afterwards, they just leave it there dead and brown.) And on what moral ground do they presume to accuse anyone of polluting the environment when they are the first and worst to do it? How much wildlife do they kill along with the flowers?
This was the sunrise this morning. It started like this and went on
to this. Pretty.
And here, as promised, are the mountains appearing out of their skirts of cloud.
Isn't that exotic? Could be India rather than Mallorca.
