Although it can be very cold at night and we often have frost,
on Thursday night (12.02.10) it snowed.
It was snowing as I walked the dogs and after I got home but I imagined that as usual it would disappear without settling.
I certainly didn't expect to wake up to this!
I couldn't open the gate because the bolt was frozen solid.
The animals weren't very happy.
Only The Ninja wasn't too bothered.
but then he knows how to look after himself.
The snow's gone now, of course, but it was pretty while it lasted.
