Sunrise, sunset and other bits of weather

There have been some lovely sunrises recently. I see them as I go to feed the animals before driving down to work. Here are some pretty ones:

There have also been some beautiful sunsets; these I usually only see at weekends as I potter around putting the animals to bed.

But there was a particularly stunning one as I came out of work one day a couple of weeks ago.

However, at this time of year we have quite a few foggy mornings too, which makes driving down to Palma a slow and cautious affair.

It's spring and the ducks are doing what they imagine to be their duty. See how slowly and carefully Mother Duck walks so that her babies can keep up. Even so, what a struggle it is for the poor little ducklings to push their way through the grass and over the uneven ground.

The flock keeps growing.

Spring brings spring-cleaning, and what better way to do it than to have a little bonfire.

It starts like this, then you pile on the books, furniture ...

Eugene, by popular demand

As requested, here are some pictures of Eugene (Eugene the New-G, as opposed to poor deposed Mr. G, the (ex)king of the gallos.) He is a handsome bird.

And here he is taking the harem to bed.
